Reviewing Previous Goals

Include in your process

Integrating the "Annual Review Goals" into your process is essential for maintaining compliance - and it's a step that is sometimes missed.  Establishing clear protocols for when to complete this task and how to communicate with parents ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Idea #1: When there is a previous IEP is in SEEDS, be sure to use the hyperlinks located below question 3 on Tab I while completing the new IEP. This information will save in the previous event's I-3P.

Idea #2: Bring the completed I-3P from the previous event to the IEP meeting.  That way, you can insure the parents receive the information on the date recorded.

Idea #3: Attach the completed I-3P as a PDF to the U-Form in the current event, so it is there to be printed with the rest of the forms.

The I-3P is designed to provide a thorough summary of student progress toward their IEP goals, capturing both interim and annual reviews. Establishing a clear process for completing and sharing these reports with families helps ensure consistent communication and maintains compliance for your district.

New Warning at WISE

Warning 7500

If you see Warning 7500 in WISE for a student with a shortened day, verify that hours—not minutes—are entered in the SEPA record for the 2025-26 school year. To resolve the warning, click the date in the SEPA record and update the shortened day hours for any students listed. If hours are correctly reported, you may acknowledge the warning per DPI guidance.

FAQs

SEEDS Answers Your Questions

Question: Does SEEDS have spell check?

SEEDS no longer includes a built-in spell check, as most web browsers now offer this feature. If you use Google Chrome, we suggest verifying that spell check is enabled to ensure accuracy in your entries.

How to enable spell check in Chrome:

1. Open Chrome Settings.

2. Select “Advanced,” then “Languages.”

3. Find “Spell check” and switch it on or off as needed.

Question: Where is the delete button?

All users can use the archive forms feature, while deleting form permission is limited to select users. We've recently updated our terminology to "Archive" for clarity and consistency.

Question: Why isn't my Review/Revise I-3 copying from the last event?

If you start a Review/Revise event before the previous event’s I-3 is finalized, you may experience issues with the automatic copy.

💡Tip: To ensure smooth copying, complete and finalize all forms in your current event before starting a new one.
